Permanent Diwali Lights in Albuquerque
Warm gold, saffron and marigold that fill your home with light for the festival of lights.
Diwali Lighting Without the Ladder
Diwali, the festival of lights, is a time to welcome light into the home, gather with family and celebrate with diyas, rangoli and sweets. For Albuquerque families who celebrate, permanent lights offer an easy, beautiful way to extend that glow across the whole house.
Rather than hanging temporary strands each fall, you can choose a warm palette of gold, saffron and marigold and set it to glow for each night of the celebration. Keep the diyas at the doorstep, and let your roofline shine above them.

Diwali Patterns to Try
Row of Diyas
Evenly spaced points of warm gold with a soft flicker along the roofline, evoking rows of oil lamps.
Marigold Garland
Alternating marigold and saffron segments draped visually along the eaves, inspired by flower garlands at the doorway.
Rangoli Jewel Tones
Magenta, teal, purple and saffron in a slow color wave for the main night of celebration.
Welcoming Entry
Bright warm white on the entry and walkway so guests arriving for dinner and sweets can see the rangoli at the door.
Scheduling Tip: Set It and Forget It
Set it in September and forget it. Diwali falls in October or November depending on the lunar calendar, so check the dates once and schedule your gold and saffron scene for each night of the festival, with jewel tones for the main night. The app then returns to warm white, or hands off to Thanksgiving colors, when the celebration ends.
Diwali Lighting FAQs
Can the lights look like traditional diyas?
We can set a warm gold scene with a gentle flicker and spacing that evokes a row of diyas. It is not a substitute for lighting real lamps, but it carries the warm glow of the festival across your whole roofline. Many families light real diyas at the doorstep and let the roofline complement them.
Diwali changes dates every year. Is scheduling difficult?
Not at all. You simply set the dates each year in the app, and your saved Diwali scenes are ready to go. It takes only a minute, and you can schedule the full five days of celebration at once. Your palettes stay saved from year to year, so nothing has to be rebuilt.
Can I use the same lights for other holidays?
Yes. The same system covers every occasion you celebrate, from Diwali to New Year's Eve to game days, and runs warm white the rest of the year. You choose the colors, and the lights adapt. There is nothing new to install when the next occasion comes around.
Will gold and saffron look good on stucco?
Very much so. Warm golds and saffron complement the earth tones of Albuquerque stucco, making the whole home look as if it is glowing from within. On Pueblo Revival and Territorial homes, a flickering gold along the parapet is especially beautiful and feels in keeping with the spirit of the festival.
